Admit it…if you could, you would 100% skip buying a car from a car dealership or a car salesperson.  You would go straight to the car manufacturer and buy direct!  So why are there SO MANY car dealerships around and thriving?

These are exactly the reasons why you should use a recruiter to find talent for specific positions. 

  1. Recruiters know their products—people. They are experts in interviewing and working with candidates on what it is each candidate is really looking for. They are also experts in identifying those passive candidates that think they aren’t interested until they hear what is available.

  2. They know the market. It is a recruiter’s job to keep up with the changes in a focus industry and be able to share that intel with you. They know what your competitors are doing. They should know what you are doing. All of this intel helps them identify the talent that works best for your organization.

  3. They find you what you really need, not what you think you need. We all know what skills are required to be successful in a position. But, what is the right culture fit? What personalities work best with your organization? Recruiters know how to work with clients to figure out what is going to work best for a client.

Do I love comparing a recruiter to a car salesperson….no!  I am like 99% of you.  I HATE the car-buying process.  But, when I find someone I like working with—one that listens to my needs and gives me everything above, I don’t mind going back to them every time I have a need.  Good recruiters are the same.  A quality recruiter will work with you through the entire process to ensure a successful hire is made.
